How It Works
Dry Pillow is a disposable pillowcase that can be used over a regular cloth pillowcase. The outer layer has a soft quilted texture that stays dry all night as the moisture absorbing middle layers wick away and lock in body fluids. Absorbed sweat, saliva, oil, etc. are blocked from seeping through to the pillow placed inside, preventing stain and odor transfer.
Dimensions are oversized (31 inch x 21 inch) to allow for easy on and off even when used over another pillowcase.
Dry Pillow's inner layer functions as a protective hygienic barrier, protecting against germs and dust mites, making it especially suitable for traveling. In hotels, pillows are used by many people and can collect and transfer hazards through permeable fabric pillowcases. As a houseguest, DryPillow can relieve concerns about staining or transferring odors to the host’s pillows.
Multi-Layer Construction
The outer layer is made from a hypoallergenic non-woven material that feels dry and comfortable.
The middle layers provide cushioning and texture in addition to absorbing and trapping moisture.
The non-permeable inside layer provides a hygienic barrier between the sleeper and pillow.
Works Great For:
Night Sweaters - Tired of waking up with a soaked head and pillow searching for a precious dry spot, or changing and washing pillowcases to remove odors? Invented by a night sweater and his wife, Dry Pillow is made for you!
Drooling - Even if it’s just a little saliva, it’s not easy for anyone to sleep on a wet pillow!
Travelers - Stop bringing your own pillows, or worrying about the ones provided to you. Bring Dry Pillow and sleep in comfort with peace of mind on your own fresh pillowcase.
Going to bed with wet hair, or with make-up or hair products on - If you’re going to get a pillow wet or dirty anyway, for whatever reason, save the laundry, use Dry Pillow and rest easy.
Oily skin - Dry Pillow absorbs facial skin oils while you sleep, which can improve skin complexion, and also prevent oily stains and build-up.
Unlike any other Pillowcase
Specialty “moisture wicking” pillowcases are typically made from permeable fabric and have minimal moisture absorption capability compared to Dry Pillow. These also require regular washing to remove saturated body fluids.
Ordinary disposable pillowcases do not have moisture absorbing capability. They are typically composed of a thin tissue outer layer and waterproof inside layer. These are designed for temporary use in doctors offices and other healthcare settings. They are not comfortable to sleep on, and are especially uncomfortable when wet since the tissue tears and sticks to the skin.
Waterproof protective pillow covers do not have moisture absorbing capability. These are typically used underneath a traditional cloth pillowcase to protect the pillow against fluid exposure. They may save the pillow from your sweat, but won’t help you sleep!
